Mobilis designs, manufactures and sells around the world river and sea beaconing material for 14 years already.

Mobilis offers a wide range of products, entirely manufactured in France, from beach or river buoys to open sea beacons. Moreover, due to our precise know-how, we are often asked for specific industrial applications, such as floats for pipes, or beacons supporting scientific material (for example for weather forecasts), etc.

Along the years, Mobilis has been designing and producing new materials, and beacons each time bigger. In 1992 and 1993, we designed modular floats in order to create a large variety of patterns, enabling us to keep up with our customers' needs. We closely follow the evolution of the needs for equipment (increasing safety in the accesses to the ports), the modernisation of the equipment (solar energy) and of the means to install the beacons.

All the floats are made of rotomoulded High Density Polyethylene (HD PE), mass tinted and UV protected. The usual process consists of injecting Polyurethane (PU) foam into the HD PE hull: it gives them robustness and safety (the float is unsinkable), lightness and then makes them very easy to handle.

Mobilis is the designer and exclusive owner of all the tools that are necessary to manufacture their products (moulds and conformators).
